Keep you business rat free!

Companies throughout Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex will be closing down over the holiday period.

Some for just a day, others for several weeks.

As your staff move out and the cold weather sets in, you may find you return to some unwelcome guests.

Rats do not like shivering outside any more than the rest of us, and if you leave a warm welcoming space for them they will take advantage of it.

An adult brown rat can weigh over a pound and cause considerable damage to your property. Their teeth grow constantly throughout their lives, so they have a continuous need to chew. From wood and plastic, to wire cables, they will destroy everything they come across.

This can result not only in expensive repairs to your workplace, but potentially setting off alarms or worse starting fires.

Rats are very agile. They climb, swim and burrow enthusiastically and can enter what we would consider the securest of areas.

Take Action

If you run a business, you have a responsibility to keep the premises clean and disease free.

If you have any food preparation you are expected to show due diligence and one way to do this is to have a pest control contract in place. Neglecting to do so could have serious consequences for you and your company. Not just because your staff will be more likely to be off sick!
